Last year , we reported on an exciting partnership between the Lincoln Reimagine Project , Architecture for Humanity , and Architectural Digest to transform a blighted San Francisco block into a vibrant pocket park–and we’re pleased to announce that the park is set to be unveiled this week! In honor of the official unveiling this Thursday, the designers put together a time-lapse video that captures the process behind the Portola mural, one of the key elements in the 1 Burrows Pocket Park . Created by local artist Jason Jagel, the mural portrays Portola neighborhood as a cheerful and thriving community through the use of bright colors and imagery symbolizing growth and diversity. + Jason Jagel + Lincoln Reimagine Project + Architecture For Humanity + Architectural Digest Permalink | Add to del.icio.us | digg Post tags: 1 Burrows Pocket Park , Architectural Digest , Architecture for Humanity , jason jagel , Lincoln Reimagine Project , mural , pocket park , portola neighborhood , reader submitted content , San Francisco , san francisco pocket park , time lapse video
