Volkswagen is set to unveil a new concept car this week at the Qatar Motor Show that gets an astounding 100km for every liter of gasoline it consumes – that’s the equivalent of 235 miles per gallon ! The green car is an upgraded version of the VW L1 vehicle and it features an ultra-efficient diesel engine in addition to an electric motor that is powered by a lithium-ion battery . Located on an old industrial site, Plaza Ecopolis is a green nursery school that aims to educate the public on energy-related issues while providing an eco-friendly space for social gatherings. The school was designed by Spanish architecture studio ecosistema urbano in Madrid. The building features large pops of yellow and a canvas-like shell stretched onto a sculptural steel frame that gives the school a bold and geometric look.
