We’re all familiar with the take-a-penny, leave-a-penny jar, but what if that idea could be expanded on a larger, potentially life-saving scale? Anonymous philanthropists across Iran have set up dozens of walls with coat hooks that invite passersby to donate warm clothes while allowing the homeless to pick up what they need without resorting to begging. These brightly painted “Walls of Kindness” have also prompted other anonymous philanthropic ventures across the country, including free bread areas and free blanket zones. READ MORE>
