Seismic Harvest is a proposed energy-efficient green belt above a freeway near San Francisco that combines wind, solar energy and train vibration to generate enough energy required for farming. It features botanical and fruit and vegetable gardens , along with vibrant spaces for recreation and cultural events. Designed by architecture studio D.IS.H, the project received a Special Recognition Award at the 280 Freeway Competition, which aims to redesign the Highway 280 north of 16th Street.
