Alchemy of Waste is all about “building a waste-not wonderland.” The collaborative creates videos about the people using  upcycled materials  in new ways in order to foster a cultural shift towards reducing waste. The work focuses on unveiling and deconstructing collective perceptions of trash by reshaping the audience’s relationship to it. They’ve put together a couple of films for their project entitled “ All is Found “, inspired by dumpster divers and tinkerers; those eccentric characters who are normally perceived as hoarders, but are in fact the underground pioneers of the upcycling movement. Check out their website for other fun projects and inspiration about recycling and transforming trash into treasure ! + Alchemy of Waste  Images via the Alchemy of Waste Facebook page The article above was submitted to us by an Inhabitat reader.
