San Francisco-based Lundberg Design transformed one of their old projects, Heaven’s Dog, into one of the city’s most visited restaurants – The Coachman. The design team added around 600 square feet of space to the existing bar and enlarged it into a spacious restaurant with a great selection of cocktails. Have you ever wished that you could trade your apartment & crappy office space for a floating live/work houseboat in the San Francisco Bay? I know I have. A few years ago, The  New York Times  published a piece about which refuelled my hope that one day, those houseboat dreams could actually come true. The inspiring article featured  Olle Lundberg ; a modernist architect who works with salvaged industrial materials. The world’s largest wind and solar hybrid renewable energy project was recently put into operation in Kingston, Jamaica. The WindStream Technologies array was commissioned for the rooftop of the prominent local law firm, Myers, Fletcher, & Gordon. Expected to generate approximately 106,000kWh annually with a return on investment in less than four years, the plant should save the firm approximately $2 million in energy costs over the course of its 25-year lifetime.
