LEGO builder extraordinaire Damien Labrousse recently unveiled an amazing replica of the French Space Agency’s Jupiter Mission Control Room made from 6,000 toy bricks! The model was requested by the team at the Kourou Space Center, which is the port from which the European Space Agency sends supplies to the International Space Station . A new batch of Nathan Sawaya’s delightful LEGO sculptures recently popped up at New York City’s Openhouse Gallery and we stopped by to take a gander. Unlike some of Sawaya’s previous works, many of which have a bit of an outrageous quality to them, “IN PIECES” glorifies quieter, more mundane objects – a bucket, a cloud or a pair of flip flops – that we often take for granted. Sawaya’s LEGO creations take on an unexpected new flavor when paired with photographer Dean West’s haunting and slightly “off” photos featuring the sculptures. Take a look here . LEGO and fans rejoice! Gadget guru Michael McCooey just unveiled a super cool flexible Spiderman action figure made entirely from LEGO bricks. McCooey is an active member of the Lego Cuusoo network, which encourages fans of the famous toy building bricks  to share their designs – and he stepped up to the challenge to build an action figure that was not only agile and posable, but also slim and natural looking like the amazing super hero himself.  The finished figurine is designed to bend and twist into all of Spidey’s limber poses , and of course it can hang upside down.
