The Hydroleaf is a striking design that is part bus shelter, part street light, part rain catchment system, and — get this — part water dispenser . Conceived by Iranian Industrial Design student Mostafa Bonakdar the Hydroleaf is intended to be used in developing arid regions.

Eco Factor: Concept shelter works as a solar-powered water dispensing unit. With billions of people over the world lacking access to safe drinking water, industrial designers have taken up the opportunity to design systems that help improve the conditions for some. Designer Mostafa Bonakdar has shared with us his new concept water dispensing unit that collects and purifies rainwater to be used as drinking water.
