From the architecture firm of Perkins+Will , the campus was designed to encourage transparency, openness, identity and engagement. In addition to being LEED certified, the new structure also includes several architectural features designed to facilitate learning and collaboration among students and faculty. With it’s central location the collage is primed to play an important role in the educational, economic and workforce development initiatives in the Greater New Haven area .
