Twins Frank and Patrik Riklin organized the creation of a 160,000-foot-long picnic blanket they’re calling “ Bignik .” Scores of volunteers were needed to turn assemble the traditional red and white patchwork behemoth of repurposed towels, bedsheets, curtains, and other donated household textiles.
