Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and Thomas Heatherwick will team up for another Google project, this time in the form of a new design for the tech giant’s new London headquarters at King’s Cross . The two firms previously partnered to develop the plan for Google’s controversial new HQ in Mountain View, California which has been plagued with hiccups since its inception. The architects released a single rendering as a teaser, and we can’t wait to see more as the design plan evolves over time.

Kaitlan Murphy is a carpenter and potter based in Revelstoke, BC, Canada. In 2014, she built a tiny house that features an eyebrow dormer and stained glass windows, and painted her company’s name, Jumping Creek Pottery , across its side. This little green home on wheels is Kaitlan’s mobile pottery boutique, where she sells her handmade cups, mugs, bowls , plates, and more. She creates pottery from her hands and her heart, with the goal of reconnecting people with the beauty of food preparation and enjoyment. Eating nourishing food from a hand-turned bowl, or sipping cider from a mug that warms the hands are gorgeous, sacred experiences that are often forgotten in our frenetic, throw-away society. With her current Kickstarter campaign , she’s aiming to raise $25,000 to invest in equipment and streamline her studio, so she can continue to create beauty that she can share with others. + Jumping Creek Pottery Kickstarter Campaign + Jumping Creek Pottery Website The article above was submitted to us by an Inhabitat reader.
