Tesla celebrates a small win this week in New Jersey, where the Senate Commerce Commission voted unanimously (6-0) to approve a bill that would make an exception to the dealers-only car sales rule that blocked the electric car maker from the state last year . The bill is currently awaiting a vote in the full senate, which must pass the measure before it can go Governor Chris Christie’s desk. If it passes, Tesla will be allowed to set up as many as four retail locations in New Jersey for selling their electric cars , and they would be required to establish at least one facility for service.
