Nothing dampens spirits faster than getting caught in an unexpected downpour when camping. That’s why the folks at GO! Outfitters created the Apex Camping Shelter , an all-purpose tarp that protects you and your gear from the rain, wind, sun, and even snow. The lightweight tarp is portable, easy to pitch in multiple configurations, and fits inside a compact stuff sack with all the included accessories. The tarp, which was recently launched on Kickstarter , has already surpassed its funding goal by nearly ten-fold—though it’s not too late to snap up a $59 early bird special . Every Apex Camping Shelter sold helps give one person in need clean water for an entire year. + Apex Camping Shelter The article above was submitted to us by an Inhabitat reader.
