Aston Martin recently confirmed plans to introduce a fully-electric version of the Rapide sedan, which should arrive sometime around 2017. Now Aston Martin is giving us a preview of the new electric sedan with the RapidE electric concept. While the concept does preview the upcoming electric Rapide, Aston Martin says that it has also been created to showcase the best of what the UK has to offer and encourage people to visit, do business, invest and study in the country. Tesla Motors has plenty to celebrate this morning with news that the Tesla Model S electric sedan just received its second award from the automotive press. Motor Trend has just named the Model S sedan its 2013 Car of the Year, one of the automotive industry’s most coveted awards. Motor Trend’s announcement follows Automobile Magazine , who also gave the Model S top honors with its own “Automobile of the Year” award. Tesla Motors has announced that the first deliveries of its new Model S electric sedan will begin on June 22nd, ahead of the previously  predicted July delivery date. The first Model S buyers will receive their cars at an invitation-only event at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California. New studies are showing that Chinese cities are slowly  sinking as a result of rapid development and excess groundwater use. According to reports, as many as 50 cities across the country are affected by soil subsidence, including the country’s largest –  Shanghai . Apparently, Shanghai has been slowly sinking for at least 90 years.
