Last year tech giant Google introduced Project Sunroof, a service that allows homeowners to search for their rooftop to see if their home is right for solar. Users can also use the service to connect with local solar providers. Google initially launched in just three cities, but as of last month the service is available in 42 states, reaching potentially 43 million roofs. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the 3D-printed office building in a ceremony on Monday attended by a number of UAE dignitaries.
