The fifth annual  World Sparrow Day  will be celebrated this Friday, March 20th. Initiated in 2010, it’s an annual awareness-raising campaign that celebrates sparrows and emphasizes the need to protect these little birds, as well as their habitats. All around the world, bird numbers have dropped alarmingly in recent years due to habitat loss, pesticide/insecticide use,  predation by pet cats , and pollution. The park will revitalize the area beneath Miami’s Metrorail, creating a safe and vibrant urban trail for cyclists and pedestrians that will stretch from the Miami River to Dadeland South Station. The modular structure was built in just three days and will be used as an experiment to see how the concept works as the iconic restaurant seeks to expand across the nation. Chicago ride-seekers can now travel in sustainable style, with the local Uber ’s new fleet of electric cars. The service has ordered twenty-five BYD e6 electric cars so that Uber drivers can offer carbon emission-free  rides to their customers. Rather than teaming up with Tesla and their Model S , Uber has gone for the more competitive BYD (Build Your Dream) company, which plans to increase their United States manufacturing plants over the next three years.
