It seems these days that everyone is glued to their smartphones and thanks to a new concept design by Shikun Sun, an industrial design student at  Sheffield Hallam University in England, the visually impaired may not need to be left out of this trend. The DrawBraille Mobile Phone is a cell phone that uses a braille board and finger pads that allow the blind to communicate efficiently. And this isn’t any old phone either – the design includes a book reader, text messaging, email, and even music capabilities. Apple Announces It Will Build America’s Largest End User–Owned Onsite Solar Array

Even as the company’s social record undergoes continued scrutiny , Apple has recently released its 2012 environmental report , in which the firm unveils plans to build America’s largest end user-owned onsite solar array at its massive data center in Maiden, North Carolina. The data center itself is LEED Platinum certified – the only building of its kind to receive that certification from the US Green Building Council – while the 100-acre, 20-megawatt facility will supply 42 million kWh of clean, renewable energy annually.
