Montana State Representative Joe Read thinks global warming is a good thing for Montana. He has even proposed legislation called ” an Act Stating Montana’s Position on Global Warming ” that says: (a) global warming is beneficial to the welfare and business climate of Montana; (b) reasonable amounts of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere have no verifiable impacts on the environment; and (c) global warming is a natural occurrence and human activity has not accelerated it. What could be more reasonable and sensible?

On Friday Mayor Lee signed legislation that will improve energy efficiency in existing buildings, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower energy costs, and create green jobs. The Existing Commercial Building Energy Performance Ordinance was passed by the Board of Supervisors on February 9th.
