Maybe you already do it (though you’ll never admit it), but did you know peeing in the shower can actually save water?  The average toilet uses 5-7 gallons of water each time you flush, which is about 80 glasses of water (10 days worth, if you’re doing 8 a day).  Multiply all of those gallons times the amount of times you pull the handle in a day day and that’s a lot of wasted water.  Each time you skip a flush, you’re saving water.  Peeing in the shower might seem gross, but fresh urine is actually sterile and harmless, and you’re washing anyway, right?  Give it a try — it won’t hurt you.  Yellow can be green when you skip a flush!
