Reclaim Design uses recycled and reclaimed materials to craft their handmade line of planter pots, vertical gardens, and even wall-mounted and hanging terrariums, featuring reclaimed glass jars. Inspired by their low-waste lifestyle and dreamed up during a trip to India, the husband and wife team started the company in Cape Town , South Africa, in an effort to share their love of reducing, reusing, and recycling. With your health in mind, they only use heat-treated pallets and reclaimed wood that has not been chemically-treated, meaning they are safe to have in your home and to grow food in. Their products, some of which can be custom-designed, are available to order through their website . + Reclaim Design  Images via Reclaim Design The article above was submitted to us by an Inhabitat reader.
