Google starts giving free internet access to Fiber cities’ public housing residents

Google has started rolling out its plan to provide free internet access to its Google Fiber cities, beginning with the program’s original market in Kansas City. Residents in all 100 homes of the West Bluff property can sign up for free internet access up to 1,000 mbps, a service that is still very much a luxury in lower income locations.
