Art and design studio Aether & Hemera have created Pollinators, an interactive installation that uses mixed media to raise awareness about the belief that pollinator populations are in continual decline . Currently installed in England’s DLI Museum , the artwork comprises ten interactive birdhouses connected by cables arranged in the shape of a tree. Each birdhouse has a speaker that can be triggered to make sound using a mobile phone or tablet. The installation will remain at the DLI Museum in Durham until January 10, 2016, after which it will be shown at Central Art Gallery, Ashton-under-Lyne and later at Towneley Hall in Burnley. + Aether & Hemera The article above was submitted to us by an Inhabitat reader.
